Zuber flies at Magny-Cours

I-Sport driver Andreas Zuber was the fastest man in GP2's free practice session. His pace looks promising for today's qualifying session, which will start later this afternoon. Zuber was just ahead of Pantano and Maldonado.

There were two new faces in the pitlane today. DTM driver Adam Carroll joined FMS International as a replacement for Antonio Pizzonia. Carroll completed 16 laps today, his first laps in a GP2 car this season.

Another new face was Ernesto Viso who has replaced Jimenez at Racing Engineering. Viso did well and set the 17th fastest time today.

Some might expected some more from Lucas di Grassi. The Brazilian didn't get much further so far than fourth.

GP2's qualifying session will start at 16.00.
