BCN Competicion signs Risatti

17 February 2007

The BCN Competicion Team today announced that it came to an agreement with Ricardo Risatti for the 2007 GP2 season. The 20-year-old Argentine driver comes from a season in the Spanish Formula 3 championship

Ricardo Risatti commented on his agreement with the team: "Working with BCN team and with my fellow countryman Enrique Scalabroni fills me with enthusiasm. I am really motivated: I will have to learn a lot about the GP2 world, but I am ready to face this new challenge with the maximum determination and professionalism."

Team boss Enrique Scalabroni commented: "The arrival of a young talent like Ricardo Risatti will be perfectly complemented by the experience that Sakon Yamamoto will bring to our team. I am firmly convinced BCN will have one of the GP2 most equilibrated couple of drivers, which could allow us to get many satisfactions throughout the season."
