At Paul Ricard testing got underway for a two-day test at the French track. In the morning Timo Glock was the fastest driver with his iSport car. In the afternoon though the German was third. At BCN 'new kid on the block' Ricardo Risatti showed promising lap times with his fourth fastest lap of the afternoon.
The afternoon session was a relatively quiet affair, as a post-lunch rain storm kept most drivers in their garages until late on.
Testing continues on Thursday at Paul Ricard when the track configuration will be changed to the 4.087km "2A" layout which will allow the teams to run aero-mapping tests as they search for understanding of the 2007 spec aero kit.
