Pizzonia fastest on day 1

FMS International driver Antonio Pizzonia was the fastest man on the first day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya. The Brazilian was in top form today and covering the laps with competitive times. Timo Glock ended today's session in second.

Under sunny conditions the GP2 teams began its first day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya to prepare themselves for the opening race next month in Bahrain. Three different teams were on top of the timesheets. FMS International (Pizzonia), iSport International (Glock) and DAMS (Nakajima) showed how competitive their cars look for the upcoming season.

GP2's test session in Spain will continue on Friday.
