Jimenex wants to learn in GP2

Sergio Jimenex is getting ready for his first season in GP2. The 22-year-old Brazilian raced in Spanish Formula 3 series last season. He hopes to learn a lot this season in GP2.

"For the season I expect to learn a lot and do a good job with my engineer to have a good car during the season," said Jimenex. "It will obviously be tough for me at the beginning as I didn't make so many kilometers in this car and don't know all tracks, but I will do my best to learn fast. I am convinced that from midseason on I will be much stronger than at the beginning.

"My target is to score as many points as possible in order to put the team in a good position. I am happy to be with Racing Engineering, a very competitive and professional team. I believe that we can do a good job and show our potential."
