Luca Filippi scored his first ever pole in the series in qualifying for the Bahraini Grand Prix. The Super Nova International driver has been working hard for this since the end of last season and thinks his pole will help him to settle in his new team.
"It feels great, really," the Italian said.
"Since November I've been thinking about this season, and we've been working a lot, starting with myself and training and pushing hard in the winter tests. Honestly this was the first goal since November, and I've worked hard for this start.
"This is the first start for the season, and I wanted to do it because it makes everyone more confident, and I'm in a new team and I had to show them my value. Now they trust me, and I trust them obviously, and now everything will be a little easier, maybe," he added.
