"I'm pretty pleased," the Arden driver said.
"The ART's were quite far behind, and Adrian did a good job, so I'm pretty pleased with it all. Our race pace was quite competitive - still a little bit here and a little bit there, but in general it was okay. It was the first time I drove the car with 90 kilos of fuel in so I struggled in the first few laps with that - I didn't know how the car would behave, and it behaved a bit differently from how I was expecting, so I made a few mistakes which almost allowed Lucas [di Grassi] to overtake, but he didn't have too much of an advantage over me because he was a bit too worried about me knocking into him or something.
"After that I got a pretty consistent run and he couldn't catch up to me a lot, and after the pitstop I got a bit of an imbalance in the brakes because we didn't change all of the tyres, and that was a bit scary because sometimes I would brake a bit hard and the car would move, but it's been a very good learning experience. I thought I would be a bit more tired - I got tired because of the heat, but not in my muscles. It's been a good result, and I'm happy for the team as well because it's been a good result for them as well, so for my first race here it's been fantastic."
