Timo Glock took pole position for tomorrow's GP2 feature race as iSport International continued to show its dominance around the Magny Cours track. Andreas Zuber was a tenth down on his team-mate's time in second ahead of title contender Bruno Senna in third.

Lucas di Grassi ensured that it will be an all Brazilian second row by qualifying fourth in his ART Grand Prix. Veteran Giorgio Pantano will start from fifth ahead of Roldan Rodriguez, who was impressive in his Piquet Sports. Pastor Maldonado, Adrian Zaugg in the second Arden, and the French DAMS cars of Kazuki Nakajima and Nicolas Lapierre will make up the top ten.

British hopeful Mike Conway was just outside the top ten in 11th for the Super Nova team whilst Adam Carroll qualified in 14th on his comeback to the series for the FMS International team.
