Senna disappointed with last row

07 July 2007 / Results / Photos

It was a difficult day for Bruno Senna at Silverstone on Friday. The Brazilian Arden driver enjoyed a strong free practice session but because of a spin his qualifying session finished early. Senna will have to start Saturday's race at Silverstone from the last row.

"I was flat out on my first flying lap with low tyre pressures and with the tyres still not up to temperaturem," said Senna looking back at his qualifying session on Friday. "Unfortunately I hit the kerb, spun and I couldn't hold it. The engine stalled so it was the end of qualifying for me and now tomorrow I have to start last. It is going to be a long race, but the car seems to be very good and I think we should have an interesting race. I'm good here at Silverstone but not very impressed with the position I will start."
