Andreas Zuber has won Race 1 at Silverstone today. The iSport driver was in a close fight with home boy Mike Conway, who finished in a well deserved second place. Kazuki Nakajima finished in third.

The first start at Silverstone was aborted as DPR driver Andy Soucek stalled his engine. At the second start Adreas Zuber managed to stay ahead of Conway, Di Grassi, Glock and Carroll. After a few laps Glock managed to overtake Di Grassi though and as Di Grassi went wide he also saw Carroll slipping by.

Nicolas Lapierre crashed out of the race as the Frenchman's left front wheel seemed to have a problem. In the meantime Adam Carroll faced a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pitlane. Carroll was racing in third position and his drive-through penalty kept him off the podium.

Because of Carroll's penalty it was Kazuki Nakajima who took over third position. He was unable to get close to the first two drivers but was well ahead of Lucas di Grassi who claimed fouth position.
