Conway reasonably happy with qualifying result

Super Nova driver Mike Conway qualified himself in ninth position for Sarturday's first race. He was right ahead of his team-mate Luca Filippi. Conway already completed his fastest lap early in the qualifying session. Unfortunately he was unable to improve his fastest time at the end of the session.

Mike Conway commented on his qualifying run today: "It was ok for me, except the second set of tyres were much slower, so in the last half we just couldn't find the pace to improve. However I am confident that tomorrow we can move up and have a good race…."
