Adam Carroll is delighted to have come away from the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend with a win and a second place. The Ulsterman is pleased also to see the team working well to improve the car.
"It's been a good weekend all round," the 24-year-old said. "We worked really hard this weekend on the car and proved that all the time."
Carroll drove a strong and controlled race this afternoon in the sprint race, getting off to a great start and waiting for the right opportunities to come his way. Unfortunately he was unable to make it a double-victory weekend but commeneded Javier Villa for the way he claimed win.
"Starting eighth I made a good start up to fourth and the race was on!" Carroll exclaimed. "I could see the guys at the front were battling hard and I knew it was going to end in tears, so I just made sure I wasn't in the middle of it and got second place. Javi did brilliant and I think he just didn't make a mistake. I couldn't do anything. He did very well."
