Following his bike accident Pastor Maldonado will have to miss the Turkish Grand Prix this weekend. World Series by Renault driver Ricardo Risatti will replace him at the Trident Racing team. Maldonado had a bike accident during a physical training session, which cost him a compound fracture of his right collarbone.
The 20-year-old Risatti is excited to make his GP2 debut this weekend with the Trident Racing team. Risatti said: "I'm very motivated and excited. This opportunity, which came by surprise, can with no doubt be a decisive turning point in my career. I'll have do my best on an unknown track, but I'm sure I will find a professional team that will allow me to concentrate on the driving part. I already tested a GP2 car during this winter, but I'll have to get used to it again, since my current ride is quite different. I can't wait to jump on-track and myself in such a though and well-known series."
