Di Grassi eyes championship lead

24 August 2007 / Results / Photos

Lucas di Grassi hopes he can get the championship lead after Saturday's GP2 race in Istanbul. The Italian will start Saturday's race from sixth position. And even though championship leader Timo Glock will start from the front row he is confident he has a good chance to take over the lead from the German.

Speaking after Friday's qualifying session Di Grassi said: "We will now have to work on the set-up for tomorrow, and for sure if we have a good pace then for sure we can overtake and we can go to the front and fight for a win, for a podium, and for the lead in the championship."
