Hernandez to join Trident Racing in Valencia
24 September 2007Tident Racing announced that Sergio Hernandez will join the team at the final round of the 2007 GP2 championship in Valencia this weekend. He will join Trident driver Kohei Hirate this weekend at the Italian team.

Sergio Hernandez is looking forward to race at his home Grand Prix this weekend and said: "Having the chance to get back behind the wheel of an open-wheel car in the GP2 Series is a dream coming true, as my main goal has always been to reach Formula 1 and there's no better way to do it than having a try in GP2.
"I'll also have the chance to be back on my home track, at Valencia. I know it very well. I understand it won't be easy, because time has passed since my last GP2 outing, and my rivals will have a full year of racing behind their shoulders."
