Fisichella's race team moves into Formula BMW

Renault F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella enjoyed an interesting race season with his GP2 team FMS International. The Italian announced this weekend though he plans to enter the Formula BMW Europe series next season The 2008 Formula BMW Europe Championship will support F1 and GP2 for seven races in Europe.

Giancarlo Fisichella said about expanding his team: "I am delighted that we are strengthening our racing activities by entering this new and exciting championship. Formula BMW Europe provides us with an ideal platform to evaluate and develop new talents, who may then graduate one day to our GP2 racing team."
