Arden becomes Trust Team Arden

The Arden GP2 team announced on Monday morning it signed itself a three-year deal with Dutch company Trust International. Trust will become Arden's title sponsor for the next three years. The team will be renamed Trust Team Arden as of today. 

In 2007 Arden International competed in the GP2 series with Bruno Senna and Adrian Zaugg. For the upcoming season the team confirmed it will race with Sebastien Buemi and it is expected to announce its second driver later this week.

Arden's managing director Christian Horner commented on the major sponsorship deal: "I am delighted to announce a new title sponsor for the next 3 years. Trust is a very successful Dutch company actively involved in motorsport for several years. They have now decided to step into GP2 as part of their global brand strategy. This support will ensure the team is a frontrunner in the next 3 years and we are looking forward to an exciting new season in both Europe and Asia."

Michel Perridon, Chairman and CEO of Trust International said: "We are very happy and proud to become partner of Arden International Motorsport. We have been watching GP2 very closely and we believe that the series is a very attractive marketing tool. GP2 is highly competitive and the feeder series of Formula One. The races are becoming more and more popular. It fits the image and ambitions of the Trust brand to become a partner and title sponsor of the famous Arden team for 3 years. We will use the sponsoring to for brand building and relationship marketing but we also hope that it will give a boost to autosport in The Netherlands since the team will create new opportunities for talents. We are looking forward to the first season of Trust Team Arden which is now the only partly Dutch team in GP2."
