Filippi fastest in morning session
20 January 2008Luca Filippi topped today's morning session in Dubai in preparation of the opening of the 2008 GP2 Asia Series.

At the wheel of his Qi-Meritus Mahara car, the Italian and GP2 race winner set the fastest lap time in the three-hour morning session on the Dubai Autodrome in a 1:21.562, closely followed by ART Grand Prix driver Romain Grosjean in a 1:21.624. The two iSport drivers, Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok, also made their way to the top of the time sheet while Marco Bonanomi and his Piquet Sports car once again enter the Top 5.
The afternoon session will start at 2pm local time.
