Trust Team Arden signs new sponsor

07 February 2008

Successful Dutch real estate company Nawon will join GP2 team Trust Team Arden as a major sponsor starting for the next race in Indonesia. Nawon will have branding on the racecars and the raceoveralls during all races of the GP2 Asia Series as well as the GP2 main series. The company has signed a sponsor agreement for 1 year with an option for 2 more years.

Arie van Erkel, director and founder Nawon: "In our business it is all about building relationships. We believe motorsport and especially GP2 is a perfect tool for this purpose. When we heard about Trust and Michel Perridon's plans to become titlesponsor of a GP2 team and to use this in order to find Holland's next F1 driver, we were immediately very interested. When we saw the sponsorship proposal and heard about the plans we were convinced that this was a unique opportunity. We are happy to be a partner of the successful Trust Team Arden and we hope we will be part of the future success."

Christian Horner, managing director Trust Team Arden: "It seems people in Holland are crazy about motorsport. We are very pleased to announce the fourth dutch sponsor in a row and to have a dutch driver. The partnership with Trust is very lucrative. These are important developments for the team which will help us to move forward on the grid and to become champion again in the very popular GP2 series."

The sponsoring agreement was facilitated by GR8industries.com.
