Maldonado sets afternoon pace

Piquet Sports' Venezuelan driver set the quickest lap of the afternoon test in a 1:12.790. Behind the Venezuelan, Racing Engineering Villa, fastest man of the day Chandhok, Trident Racing Conway and FMS International Valles all posted times quicker than 1:13:00. 

Tomorrow, the track configuration will be switched to the short 2D version (3.586 Kms) in preparation of the 3rd round of the 2008 GP2 Main Series Championship which will take place in Monaco.
