
Piquet Sports' Pastor Maldonado stayed top of the timesheets on Thursday as he lapped the Paul Ricard circuit in 1m10.062s. The Venezuelan was closely followed by Pantano in a 1m10.082s while Luca Filippi, Pastor's team-mate Andreas Zuber and Javier Villa completed the top five.
Twenty drivers posted times in less than 1:11.000 This concluded three weeks of intense testing for the 13 GP2 Teams. They will next meet in Barcelona for the opening of the championship on April 25th and 26th.
The next testing session will take place in Paul Ricard on June 10th and 11th.
