DPR fortunes change in race two

The high point for David Price Racing (DPR) yesterday was Diego Nunes scoring two championship points in the fourth round of the GP2 Asia Series in Bahrain, and Armaan Ebrahim putting in a strong performance to finish in 13th place after starting 25th. 

Today it was the low after the high, with Nunes retiring from the race after opening lap clashes, but Ebrahim's problems started on the grid with a stall and a push to the pits, ending in a disappointing 16th place finish. 

Nunes said of his disappointing second race in Bahrain, "I was pushed off track by Chandhok in the run down to the first corner and had a fight to get through it, especially as he gave me so little room. There was a lot of contact through the first few corners and then I was spun round. There was damage to my car and that was the end of my race. I'm disappointed, but I can't look back, but must look to the next race weekend, which is only a week away." 

Ebrahim concluded of his sprint race, "It's rare for me to stall on the grid, but it was just one of those things that happens sometimes. I was forced to be pushed into the pits and the team restarted me, but that really put me out of contention. I ran the race distance and that's always valuable, I just hope I can have better luck next time." 

David Price, Team Principal, DPR added, "After such good performances from the drivers, and the strong pitwork of the crew yesterday, I can't help but be disappointed with how things turned out today. We'll bounce back in Dubai and hopefully we can finish the season on a high note."
