The GP2 teams enjoyed a trouble-free day with impeccable reliability today at the Circuito de Velocidad in Jerez. The drivers completed 1412 laps in total and covered 6252.336kms overall. 

Already quick this morning, Pastor Maldonado signed a flier in a 1:24.727, topping this morning's fastest laptime, three tenth clear from Koudai Tsukakoshi who keeps on impressing on Piquet Sports.

Entering the top 3 this afternoon was Dams' Kamui Kobayashi ahead of another competitive rookie Nico Hulkenberg on the second ART car. They were followed by experienced Karun Chandhok on FMS, Andreas Zuber on Racing Engineering, this morning's fastest man Davide Valsecchi on Durango, Diego Nunes on the second Piquet car and Alvaro Parente on the second Racing Engineering car. Russian Vitaly Petrov completed the top 10 at the wheel of the Campos car. 

Tomorrow's session will start at 9am, local time.
