
Ocean Racing Technology announced its second driver on Tuesday afternoon. Fabrizio Crestani will join Yelmer Buurman in Dubai this weekend for his GP2 Asia Series debut. The 20-year-old driver won the two last races of the EuroSeries 3000 in Magione (Italy) bringing his tally to three victories. Fabrizio's presence on the podium was regular and despite the handicap of missing the first third by the championship, he finished just 11 points behind the champion.

Added to this, Fabrizio took part in three rounds of the Formula Master and several testing sessions with the teams in GP2 Series, the Italian's results gaining the attention of Tiago Monteiro."Fabrizio is a young driver with potential. He quickly came to grips with the Euro Series 3000 and his performances were solid. He now has to take this new challenge as he has never raced with such power before. He is motivated and that is important when entering such a competitive championship that all the young drivers aiming to join," Monteiro said.
Fabrizio Crestani will now join Yelmer Buurman as the first drivers of Ocean Racing Technology and Tiago Monteiro and Jose Guedes confirm that now with this driver duo, Ocean Racing Technology is complete. "We have gathered all the ingredients and now we have started work. We now need to take our new team to the track where we can get a better idea of where we stand. We can count on two young and hard working drivers and it is mandatory to start off on the right foot. We know there is a lot of hard work ahead, but we all have great motivation," guarantees Jose Guedes.
