Rigon joins Trident

The Trident Racing team has announced that it has signed Davide Rigon for the upcoming Grand Prix in Qatar. Rigon will join country fellow Frankie Provenzano at Trident Racing.

Davide Rigon has been successful in the Superleague Formula series as Team Beijing Guoan driver. The team won the inaugural season with Rigon.

"I'm very happy getting such an opportunity at Trident," Rigon said. "I haven't raced a single seater for two months so I'm eager to go. The deal with Trident makes it possible for me to get to know them and hopefully secure myself a seat in the GP2 main series."
