Trident welcomes new managing director

The Trident squad has employed the services of a new managing director in order to boost its team structure. Luca Zerbini will be joining the Italian outfit from next Monday, dealing specifically with driver relations and the general management of both Ricardo Teixeira and Rodolfo Gonzalez.

Starting next week, Zerbini will be responsible for, not only driver relations, but also the supervising of sponsorship deals for the team and development of new partnerships which continue to grow in both quantity and size as the team does likewise.

Zerbini began his top-class motorsport career thirteen years ago in Formula 3000 and has worked with a number of teams and drivers since; he also has four years' experience of managing the Italian Karting Federation (FIK).
