The Racing Engineering team has revealed that no less than six drivers will be testing its car in preparation for the 2010 season. Jerez in Spain will be the scene of next week's test for the drivers, who all hold experience of driving a GP2 car.
With the 3-day test set to run from Tuesday to Thursday next week, those in-line to drive the Racing Engineering car are as follows:
- Diego Nunes
- Roldán Rodríguez
- Kamui Kobayashi
- Sten Pentus
- Jérôme D'Ambrosio
- Dani Clos
Of the six men, Clos is the only driver to have competed for the team this season with 2009 team-mate Lucas di Grassi not part of next week's plans. The schedule will be a particularly busy one for Kobayashi, as the Toyota Formula One reserve driver will be flying back from Japan, where he drove in Friday's practice sessions at Suzuka to stand in for regular pilot, 2007 GP2 Champion Timo Glock.
