Banbury's Will Bratt will be competing in the upcoming GP2 Asia Series with the Coloni team after claiming the final ever Euroseries 3000 crown at Monza. The 21-year-old, who moved from Spanish Formula 3 last year, will make his debut as the season begins in Abu Dhabi in two weekends' time.
The last ever Euroseries 3000 championship couldn't have been closer, as Bratt beat Marco Bonanomi's number of second place finishes after the pair finished the season with identical numbers of points and race wins.

"Winning the championship is just something incredible, I think I still have to realise that," Will said on Sunday after claiming the all-important second place position in Italy. "Maybe tomorrow morning I will wake up and understand how important what I achieved today is, but for now to me it's just a dream.
"We managed to win in our first year in the series. Fear of losing the title? Yes, when I was 4th and he (Bonanomi) was leading the race it seemed really hard, but in the end I made it. Now I'm looking forward to driving the GP2 Asia car in Abu Dhabi."
