The iSport team has confirmed that Italy's Davide Valsecchi will be lining up alongside Oliver Turvey for the Asia Series curtain raiser in Abu Dhabi next weekend. The 22-year-old, who joined GP2 in 2008, will also be testing the car at the desert venue this week.
With Britain's Turvey already confirmed at iSport for the Asia Series, Monday's announcement finalised the first-race line-up for the British team which - with Holland's Giedo van der Garde at the wheel - drove to three races wins this season.
The confirmation of Valsecchi's drive comes after the former Durango driver topped Day 1 of Jerez testing for Coloni just under two weeks ago.
With Turvey still having World Series by Renault commitments to complete, iSport has noted that Valsecchi will be the only half of the duo to be present at the Abu Dhabi test, which runs on Friday and Saturday.
